Central Ohio Community Land Trust
Central Ohio Community Land Trust (COCLT) is a 501 (c)(3) organization that promotes long-term housing affordability in Franklin County that is fair and inclusive to everyone.
How to Qualify
- COCLT homebuyers must be at or below 120% of the area median income as determined by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.
- Income eligibility is determined by the number of people in a family and the amount of money a family earns in a year.
- Applicants must complete the five steps to homeownership eligibility, including but not limited to:
- Attending a COCLT orientation class.
- Taking part in the homebuyer selection drawing process.
- Obtaining an income eligibility determination.
- Getting pre-approval from a COCLT mortgage lender for a leasehold interest loan.
- Attending a HUD-approved homebuyer education course.
